InstructionsHeat oven to 375°F. Cream butter and sugar in large mixer bowl until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add eggs; beat 2 minutes. Add molasses, cognac and vinegar; beat until well mixed, about 3 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients in medium-size bowl. Gradually beat into butter mixture until well mixed, about 4 minutes. Fit cookie press with bar plate according to manufacturer's directions. Fill press with dough. Press dough onto greased baking sheet into 3-inch-long bars. Press second layer of dough over first. Bake until cookies are brown and edges are crisp, about 12 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Repeat with remaining dough. |
