Old English Hard Sauce

15 minutes — 13 ounces (about 1-2/3 cup)

Ingredients

1	teaspoon	vanilla extract
1⁄2	teaspoon	orange rind (grated)
1⁄4	teaspoon	nutmeg (grated)
1⁄3	cup	butter or margarine (softened)
2 1⁄4	cup	confectioners sugar (sifted)
1	tablespoon	milk
2	tablespoon	unsulphured molasses

Combine first 4 ingredients. Gradually add remaining ingredients. Serve over warm puddings.
