NotesIf orange-and-chocolate flavored liqueur is unavailable, Crème de cacao may be substituted. To make chocolate curls, melt 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate morsels and 1/2 teaspoon vegetable shortening in heatproof cup over simmering water; stir. Spread 1/8 inch thick on cold baking sheet. Refrigerate until firm but pliable. Scrape metal spatula across chocolate the form curls. Chocolate shavings may also be used. |
