Asian Barbecue Marinade

1⁄2cuppeanut oil
1⁄4cuphoisin sauce
1⁄4cupsoy sauce
1⁄2cuprice vinegar (or distilled white vinegar)
1⁄4cuprice wine (or dry sherry)
1⁄2teaspoonhot chili oil (optional)
1dashdark sesame oil (optional)
2clovegarlic (minced)
2 scallions (minced)
2tablespoonfresh ginger (minced)


Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Marinate chicken, pork, flank steak, or beef overnight in the refrigerator. Use the marinade to baste the food as it grills.
