2mediumripe avocados
1tablespoonfresh lemon or lime juice (plus 1 teaspoon)
1largefresh ripe tomato (seeded and chopped)
2tablespoononion (minced)
2tablespoonred onion (finely chopped)
1 chili serrano or other fresh hot green chili pepper (seeded, deveined and minced)
4sprigfresh cilantro (finely chopped)


Peel avocados and remove pits; reserve pits. Place avocado in medium bowl; mash to chunky consistency. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Press pits into avocado mixture; refrigerate, covered, at least 1 hour. Remove pits and mix guacamole well before serving.


Preparation time does not include refrigeration time.
