Bananas with Bacon

InstructionsSoak the raisins in the tea until they are plump. Peel the bananas and remove the white threads that cling to the flesh. Roll a slice of bacon around each banana, securing it with a wooden toothpick. In a large pan or skillet heat the oil over medium heat and fry the bananas until they are golden brown and the bacon is cooked. Remove and keep them warm. Drain the raisins and fry them quickly in the same oil. Sprinkle the raisins over the bananas and serve with fried or baked eggs. |
