Barbecued Shrimp

Ingredients

2poundjumbo shrimp (shelled with tails left on & deveined)
1cupolive oil
1⁄4cupchili sauce (bottled is fine)
2tablespoonlemon juice
2tablespoonworcestershire sauce
2clovegarlic (minced)
1⁄2teaspoonsalt
1pinchground cayenne pepper (or to taste)

Instructions

Prepare grill.

Place shrimp in shallow glass baking dish. Mix remaining ingredients in small bowl; pour over shrimp. Toss to coat. Marinate, covered, at room temperature, tossing occasionally, 20 minutes.

Drain shrimp; reserve marinade. Place shrimp in single layer in oiled preheated square hinged grill basket. Grill 4 inches above coals, basting frequently with marinade, turning once, until shrimp are opaque in center, about 6 minutes per side. Serve with hot rice and remaining marinade for dipping, if desired.
