Blueberry Compote

2tablespoonfresh lemon juice
1⁄4cupfresh orange juice


Bring the sugar, lemon juice, and orange juice to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Reduce to a simmer, add 1 cup of the blueberries, and cook, stirring for 4 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and set it aside to cool slightly.

Transfer the mixture to a food processor or blender and process or blend until smooth. Pour the sauce over the remaining blueberries in a medium bowl and stir gently to blend. Serve warm, or cover and refrigerate to serve cold.
