Brownie Pudding

Ingredients

1cupflour
2teaspoonbaking powder
1⁄2cupsugar
5tablespooncocoa (divided)
1⁄2cupmilk
1teaspoonvanilla
2tablespoonshortening (melted)
1⁄2cupnuts (chopped)
3⁄4cupbrown sugar
1 3⁄4cuphot water

Instructions

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, 1/2 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa. Add milk, vanilla and shortening; mix until smooth. Add nuts. Pour into greased casserole. Mix together brown sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa; sprinkle over mix. Pour 1-3/4 cup hot water over all. Bake 45 minutes at 350F. Serve warm with spoon from casserole. Sauce will be on bottom.
