Curry Sauce

Ingredients

2tablespoonbutter (or margarine)
1⁄4cupmushrooms (sliced)
2tablespoonflour
1cupbeef broth
1⁄2teaspooncurry powder

Instructions

Sauté mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes, stir in flour, then beef broth. Add curry powder and cook, stirring, until thickened.

Notes

The original recipe calls for adding one cup of water and a beef bouillon cube; certainly an easy way to prepare this sauce if no "from scratch" beef broth is available.
