Ingredients

2cupfresh bread crumbs
3⁄4cuponions, minced
1⁄4cupgreen peppers, minced
2 eggs
2poundground chuck
2tablespoonhorseradish
2 1⁄2teaspoonsalt
1tablespoondry mustard
1⁄4cupmilk
3⁄4cupketchup

Instructions

Prepare crumbs, onion, pepper. In large bowl beat eggs slightly, mix in crumbs, onion, pepper. Meat will be juicier and more tender if handled as little as possible. Add horseradish, salt, mustard, milk and 1/4 cup ketchup. Shape into loaf in shallow dish, spread top with 1/2 cup ketchup. Bake 50 minutes at 400F.
