Mustard Sauce

Ingredients

2	tablespoon	butter (or margarine)
1	tablespoon	onions (minced)
2	tablespoon	flour
1	tablespoon	mustard
1⁄8	teaspoon	black pepper
14	ounce	consommé (1 can)
1⁄4	cup	light cream (or evaporated milk)

Instructions

Cook onions in butter for 2 minutes over medium heat, stirring. Blend in flour, mustard, pepper, and then consommé. Cook, stirring, until smooth and thickened. Stir in light cream and season to taste.

Notes

Also good on mashed potatoes or rice.
