Oven Fried Chicken

2largefryers cut up (about 2-/12 to 3 pounds each)
1⁄8teaspoongarlic powder
1⁄2teaspoononion salt
1 egg (slightly beaten)
1cupcornflakes (crushed fine)
1⁄4cupchicken stock


Beat all seasonings into egg. Dip the chicken parts in the egg and coat with cornflakes. Place in baking dish. Add stock to dish and cover tightly, using aluminum foil in absence of a cover. Place in a preheated 375F oven and bake for 1/2 hour. Uncover and bake another 1/2 hour. An attractive garnish is a paper-thin slice of orange on each part.
