Roast Chinese Spareribs

InstructionsCombine the garlic, beans sauce, hoisin sauce, salt and coloring in the jar of a blender. Blend for 2 minutes (If you do not have a blender, minced garlic and been sauce together and blend well with hoisin sauce, salt, and coloring.) Add the oil and sugar and mix well. Marinate spareribs overnight or for several hours, turning them often in this mixture. Weave on the spit and roast over medium fire for an hour to an hour and a half, basting or brushing them with the marinade from time to time during the cooking process. |
