InstructionsHeat oven to 450F. Sift flour with next 6 ingredients. Cut in shortening until mixture is crumbly. Combine yolk, molasses; add combined soda and water. In shell, alternate layers of flour mixture and liquid, with flour on bottom and top. Bake at 450F 10 minutes, then lower heat to 350F for 15 minutes, or until set. |
