Ingredients

2cupall-purpose flour
1⁄4cupsugar
1⁄2cuplard (cold)
1⁄2cupcold milk
1 egg yolk

Instructions

Mix flour and sugar in medium bowl. Cut in lard until mixture resembles coarse meal. Beat milk and egg yolk in cup. Stir into flour mixture with fork; gather dough into ball. Refrigerate, wrapped in plastic wrap, at least 30 minutes.

Notes

You could also use a solid vegetable shortening instead of lard in this recipe. Make sure that the vegetable shortening his cold.
