1largehead white or red cabbage (finely shredded)
1cupsour cream
1 lemon (juiced)
1teaspoondry mustard
1tablespoonprepared horseradish
  salt (to taste)


Wash the shredded cabbage and dry it well. Place it in a large bowl. Blend the remaining ingredients and thin down with a little water if necessary. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss it well. Let stand in a cold place at least an hour or two before serving.


Preparation time does not include chilling time.
