Ingredients

3⁄4cupketchup
1⁄2cupoil
1⁄2cupvinegar
2tablespoongarlic vinegar
1tablespoontarragon vinegar
1⁄2cupwater
1tablespoonworcestershire sauce
1smallonion (minced)
2teaspoonbrown sugar
1⁄2teaspoonsalt
1⁄2teaspooncelery salt
1⁄2teaspoongarlic salt
1⁄2teaspoonmustard seed
1⁄2teaspooncelery seed
1⁄2teaspoonground cloves
1teaspoonchili powder
1teaspoonoregano
1smallbay leaf (crushed)

Instructions

Place all liquids in heavy saucepan; set over medium heat and stir well.

Mix dry ingredients in mixing bowl, add to liquid and stir until well blended. Reduce heat and simmer gently 25 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Remove from heat. Use as sauce to marinate and baste meats while broiling.
