Ingredients

2 1⁄2cupbing cherries (or one no. 2 can of cherries)
2tablespoonsugar
1⁄2cupcognac
1quartvanilla ice cream

Instructions

Heat cherries in juice and chafing dish. Sweeten with sugar. When hot (do not boil) add almost all of the brandy. Put remaining brandy in large spoon. Ignite with match. Pour over cherries and let blaze. When flame goes down, spoon hot cherries over ice cream.
