Delaware Peach Crisp

Ingredients

29ouncecanned sliced peaches
1cupbrown sugar (packed)
2tablespooncornstarch
2tablespoonhoney
1⁄2teaspoonground cinnamon
1⁄4teaspoonground nutmeg
1⁄2cuplemon juice
1⁄2cupraisins
1⁄2cuppecans (chopped)
1cupall-purpose flour
1⁄2cupsugar
1⁄2cupbutter (or margarine - melted)
  vanilla ice cream (optional)

Instructions

Drain peaches, reserving the syrup in a saucepan; set peaches aside. Stir brown sugar, cornstarch, honey, cinnamon and nutmeg into the pech syrup until smooth. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Add lemon juice, raisins, pecans and reserved peaches. Pour into a greased 2-quart baking dish.

For topping, combine flour, sugar and butter. Sprinkle over peach mixture. Bake at 350F for 35 minutes. Serve with ice cream if desired.
