Ingredients

1clovegarlic (mashed)
3tablespoonvegetable oil
3tablespoonsoy sauce
2tablespoonketchup
1tablespoonvinegar
1⁄4teaspoonblack pepper
4slicepineapple (drained, if using canned slices)

Instructions

Combine first 6 ingredients. Let 4 thick hamburger patties stand in this sauce 30 minutes, turning often. Oven-broil on one side. Meanwhile, let pineapple stand in same sauce. When turning patties, add pineapple; complete broiling. Serve patties on pineapple.
