Ingredients

1	quart	strawberries
		pineapple juice (slightly sweetened)
1⁄4	cup	rum
1 1⁄2	cup	heavy cream
2	tablespoon	sugar
3	drop	vanilla (or to taste)

Hull the strawberries and cover with pineapple juice. Let them stand 1 hour and add the rum. Whip the cream, adding the sugar and vanilla.

Serve strawberries topped with whipped cream.

Preparation time does not include marinating time.
