InstructionsPut chocolate and milk into the top part of a double boiler. Stir until melted, then beat with rotary beater over the boiling water for 3-4 minutes. Beat in sugar, vanilla, and ground cloves. Heat until steaming hot. Put egg in bowl and beat until frothy. Then add chocolate mixture and beat to a frothy consistency. Pour into carafe. Serve at once. |
